Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress, known for parts in the film Hum Aapke Koun. Her career began as an actress in the 1980s. Her fame was boosted by the movie Tezaab with veteran actor Anil Kooor. Next, she appeared with Aamir as part of Dil. As a child her Mumbai-born dancer started learning at an early stage. In her early years, when she started to act as a child actress, most of the films she produced did not succeed. Her breakthrough came when she finally had success and she went on to be one of the most prominent actresses within the Indian film business. Following her wedding, she took a brief time off from her acting career before returning. Recently, she was a key player on Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggle of Indian women. Dixit is nominated to win the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she was awarded eight. Dixit was also awarded the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honor in India. She has also been recognized for her work in the field of social work.
