MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream has been affected through his worldwide reach. Una Lady Como Tu (his 2016 hit) was awarded an Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. The album he released as his debut ADN was released in 2017 by La Industria Inc., a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. The album reached the top of the charts at number eight places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca is one of the Top Five smash hit in 2010, also featured Noriel alongside Ozuna. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel for Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina the next year. Then in 2021 he sang an duet with TINI's streaming smash track Maldita Foto. The singer appeared with him in 2023 for 2000, which included the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into the musical home of his family. Both his elder brother and mom are also musicians. In interviews, Turizo has said that music is an essential part of his life. As a child, he was taught how to perform on the guitar, piano and the ukulele. His initial choice of career was to become a vet however, his brother Julian persuaded him to learn singing with the help of a Cuban teacher. What happened was that he found his ability to sing and also changed the course his life.
